Activities
We have chosen this location in order to create a model holiday resort, close to Athens.
We believe that in the intense lifestyle of the inhabitants of the cities and especially Athens, it is of great importance to have alternative solutions of relaxation, recreation, exercise and entertainment that combine every preference and the dramatic influence of the mountain and the sea.
In our housing estate ZEUS-VILLAGE, our main goal is to stay as much as possible away from the daily routine of the city and enjoy the calmness that the rich natural environment has to offer.
The sounds of nature and the rich colours of the ground, the mountains, the sky and the sea that are perceptible from the veranda of each chalet throughout the year, help in the exemption from tiredness and they function with a beneficial role in the human spirit. The reviving walks through forests, cultivated areas, rural streets and beautiful paths help in the smooth exercise of the body and the acquisition of good shape.
Simultaneously, sports such as basketball, volleyball, cycling, hunting, fishing, swimming e.t.c. replace stress and anxiety with self confidence, good health and long life.
Excursions
Because of the advantageous position of the settlement, the friends of short daily excursions have multiple choices. Indicatively we report certain from them:
1) For ski lovers:
A) The snowy tops of Parnassos that appear from the settlement provoke you to also visit them. In about forty minutes,, you reach Parnassos and in this beautiful natural environment, you can enjoy the snow, the fir and feel your adrenaline climaxing in the amazing ski slopes.
Access is easy with conventional car via the National Road and Bralos, however 4h4 JEEP lovers have an other, alternative way via Mendenitsa and Kallidromo (40 km.) This way the visitor can approach faster and through picturesque villages, other magnificent landscapes.
B) In about an hour and a half from the settlement, there is Tymfristos, with the wonderful ski centre of Karpenisi, in Velouhi, where you go through high mountains, gorges, rivers and dense vegetation.
It is a region with a lot of historical and religious sites worth visiting and enjoying.
C) In two hours roughly there is Pilion, the mountain of Centaurs and fables with the famous ski centre but also many beautiful picturesque villages and historical monuments.
2) For the sea and marine sports lovers:
A) From the settlement you can look far away on the Northern Evia Gulf and Malliakos Gulf. In fifteen minutes you can enjoy the clear sea and beach in Asproneri, but also in Logos. We cannot exclude the organised beaches in Kammena Vourla that call you to visit them, as well as the swimming-pools of the luxurious hotel Galini.
B) From Agios Konstantinos there is regular coastal connection with Northern Evia - in twenty minutes - which gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy the beauties of the island, its green forests and the magnificent beaches. It would be omission not to mention that there is also regular connection with the Sporades islands, Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonnisos that are famous for their natural environment, the beaches and their pine-tree forests.
Historical Places
The region is famous for:
(Ancient Times) from the ancient historical battle of "Thermopyles" with the monument of Leonidas, just fifteen minutes from the settlement.
(History of New Times) the monument of Athanassios Diakos and the heroic “hani tis Gravias”.
(Modern History) the monument of National Resistance in the bridge of Gorgopotamos.
All these destinations offer the opportunity for short relaxed excursions away from the daily routine and boredom of the city and your fast return in your private chalet in order to enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.
